TRAIN YOURSELF

Initial training in Ziléos pedagogy

The initial training session is currently offered in Quebec, France, Romania and Switzerland and is open to any other country that requests it. Its objective is to train pastoral leaders who are keen to reach young people where they are, by creating clubs and/or other activities offered by Ziléos and which are adapted for each age group. This training addresses the ministry of Presence among young people, the spiritual attitudes to listen to them, the mission and principles of action, the programs and animation tools of Ziléos. After the initial training, the leaders are supported and monitored in the pastoral care of their club over the year. They receive continuing training in the form of monthly modules. Information to this effect is communicated by country or in the news section of our website.

Long-term training

For people who have already studied theology (at least a degree) and want to start Ziléos.

In connection with the Faculty of Theology and Religious Sciences (FTSR) of Laval University in Quebec, Ziléos offers diploma training for a variable duration adapted to each participant (generally eight to ten months). This training alternates a time of pastoral activity in the various Ziléos missions in Quebec (ministry of Presence with young people, clubs, camps) and a time of university training at the FTSR of Laval University. The objective being to carry out an academic rereading of field experiences with Ziléos, on the pastoral, ecclesial, theological and sociological levels.

A University Diploma (DU) will be issued by Laval University.

Several discussions are underway with institutes or faculties of theology to offer initial or continuing training adapted to Ziléos facilitators and trainers.
